Four George R.R. Martin books return to best-sellers lists this week

It’s Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly review of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Seller List. According to the list, there are two new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Explosive Eighteen" by Janet Evanovich replaced "Kill Alex Cross" by James Patterson as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"The Help" by Kathryn Stockett replaced "Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back" by Todd Burpo, Sonja Burpo, Colton Burpo and Lynn Vincent as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"Smokin' Seventeen: A Stephanie Plum Novel" by Janet Evanovich retained its place as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"Steve Jobs: A Biography" by Walter Isaacson remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

There are five books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They (along with their place on the list) include "Explosive Eighteen" by Janet Evanovich (1), "Micro: A Novel" by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston (6), "The Sense of an Ending" by Julian Barnes (12), "A Dance with Dragons" by George R.R. Auel (4), "Quinn" by Iris Johansen (5), "Learning to Love: Sugar/Love by Degree" by Debbie Macomber (6), Storm of Swords" by George R.R. Martin (10), "A Clash of Kings" by George R.R. Martin (11),"A Feast for Crows" by George R.R. Martin (14) and "Immortal Rider" by Larissa Ione (15).

Holland (8), "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell (11) and "The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead" by Max Brooks (12).
