Is 1972's 'The Godfather' the greatest movie of all time?

If you read yesterday’s post about “This Is Spinal Tap,” you may remember that I mentioned that Entertainment Weekly named that hilarious movie to its prestigious list of “100 Greatest Movies of All Time” in 1999. I’d never read that complete “best of” list until earlier today, and I learned that “This Is Spinal Tap” didn’t actually make the Top 100. It was actually in a sub-list of movies that Entertainment Weekly called “Just Too Beloved to Ignore.” What follows is a complete list of the Top 100 movies followed by the “Just Too Beloved to Ignore” list.
