Two new books move to No. 1 on best-sellers lists this week

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are two new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Until the End of Time" by Danielle Steel replaced "Silencing Eve" by Iris Johansen as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"Deadline" by Sandra Brown replaced "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd remained the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list for the fourth straight week.

"Duty" by Robert M. Gates remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list for the third week in a row.

There were three new books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their places on the list) included "Still Life with Bread Crumbs" by Anna Quindlen (4), "An Officer and a Spy" by Robert Harris (10) and "The Husband's Secret" by Liane Moriarty (14).

There were three new books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that wasn’t on the list last week. Those books included "The Love Playbook" by La La Anthony (2), "Soul Healing Miracles" by Zhi Gang Sha (6) and "Wheat Belly 30-Min. (or Less!) Cookbook" by William Davis (15).

There were 10 new books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books included "Until the End of Time" by Danielle Steel (1), "Home to Seaview Key" by Sherryl Woods (2), "The Witness" by Nora Roberts (3), "A Man's Heart" by Debbie Macomber (4), "The Eye of God" by James Rollins (6), "Protector" by Diana Palmer (8), "Wild About Harry" by Linda Lael Miller (9), "Unseen" by Karin Slaughter (10), "Cider Brook" by Carla Neggers (11) and "Up From the Grave" by Jeaniene Frost (14).
